5G and Wireless Technologies

Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) come from electrical devices, including personal computers, tablets, smartphones, gaming devices, electronics, cell phone towers, and Wifi. Many children are exposed to EMFs in their high tech classrooms as well as in most public places. The World Health Organization classified EMFs as “possibly carcinogenic to humans,” and research has shown EMF overexposure can include symptoms such as chronic headaches, fatigue, trouble sleeping, ringing in the ears, rashes/hives, and feeling stressed or “wired.” Other studies show the increase in electromagnetic fields present in the environment over the last decade is coterminous with the increase in autism rates.

We are increasingly surrounded by wireless technology and dependent on our elected officials to maintain health safety standards to protect our children. In many cases, existing science is ignored and projects proceed that put our families at risk. Children’s Health Defense is actively working to identify risks and recommend changes.

Valeri Marsh is Executive Director of our sister organization, Arizonans for Safe Technology. Having been seriously ill since childhood, as a young  adult she cured herself of severe asthma through natural healing modalities such as juice fasting and cleansing. This sparked an interest in health and nutrition that has spanned 40 years.

In 2018, when the long-awaited results were published from the biggest study ever conducted to determine whether cell phone radiation was safe or not, she was relieved to hear that these results PROVED it caused 9 types of cancer, cardiomyopathy, and DNA damage. She was relieved because she assumed the US would halt the impending 5G rollout. When, to her surprise, the rollout continued full steam ahead, she started investigating other problems with this increase in manmade EMF’s (electromagnetic fields) that was to blanket the planet.
