Children’s Health Defense Ohio is eager to present the highly informative online symposium, “Addressing School Board Members and Local Health Departments – Learn Crucial Information, Beneficial Tools and the Potential Legal Recourse to be an Effective Advocate and Impact Much Needed Change,”  featuring guest speakers Dr. Elizabeth Laffay, Heather Boyer Younkin, Micah Ray Aills, Heather Chappell, Chanel Davis, Kathryn Huwig and attorney Warner Mendenhall, on Monday, February 7, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

Children are our most precious gift, greatest blessing, and most valuable contributors to the future of our society. Parents are and should remain at the forefront of decisions that influence and enrich the foundations by which children flourish and become fruitful contributors to society. Optimum health and education are fundamental in that respect and may be nurtured by a supportive community with parents who know what is best for their children. To further that necessity, it is imperative that parents effectively communicate with locally elected officials and those who influence policy, such as schoolboard members, superintendents, and local health departments, to ensure their children’s overall wellbeing and rights, including but not limited to an enriching educational experience, are best met for the children’s sake and generations to come.

Being proactive in our children’s health and educational system has always been of utmost importance. However, the added urgency stemming from decisions that have been made over the past few years, which have unequivocally adversely impacted the overall wellbeing of Ohio’s children, has made it imperative for parents to take further action and become proactive in engaging their local officials.

All parents have the capability, heart, and passion to be proactive and effective in impacting much needed change by the mere fact that they know their children’s needs better than anyone else.

Whether you are experienced in these areas of advocacy or not, the experts and parents featured in this empowering online symposium will be sharing highly beneficial information and effective tools that may motivate parents to not only become proactive at the local level, but gain further knowledge and acquire beneficial tools that are key to understanding and effectively navigating these public arenas and engagements, in addition to the potential legal recourse that can be taken to impact change.

If you are already active in this area, or would like to learn details to become proactive, you will not want to miss this FREE empowering and informative session!
Join us online on Monday, February 7th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time to learn more!

Heather Boyer Younkin

Heather Boyer Younkin

Heather Boyer Younkin is a loving mom of three boys. Heather has extensive experience in fighting against Common Core. She took a bold stand and as a result her son was only child in his school district who was not subjected to take the common core tests. Heather ran for local school board and has a thorough understanding of how local school boards function, in addition to the legalities that are often overlooked and every parent should know.

Heather has extensive experience in advocating at the local level and has long been effective at engaging her local elected officials. She effectively challenged the mask, quarantine and contact tracing policies in her school district utilizing her knowledge of ORC. The mask mandate orders were revoked. She has also been proactive in the medical freedom realm over the past two years, meeting with elected officials, participating in peaceful demonstrations and providing compelling testimony at the Ohio Statehouse.

Heather recently joined the Children’s Health Defense Ohio Board and is an ardent advocate for fundamental human rights and freedoms

Micah Ray Aills

Micah Ray AillsMicah Ray Aills is a singer, songwriter, musician, photographer and an Operations Manager in the supply chain industry. From the beginning of the pandemic Micah was considered part of the essential businesses. Realizing early on something was wrong with the official story, he has spent many hours in the last two years researching all relating to the pandemic and the government’s responses.

Micah went from an average citizen focused on everyday life, to one who is willing to speak out against the mandates and draconian measures our institutions have imposed upon Ohioans. He has given testimony in support of House Bill 618, spoke at the November 3rd Worldwide Walkout Day and challenged his local school board when masks were mandated on buses. He is a great example of how average citizens can stand up, educate themselves and others.

Micah recently joined the Children’s Health Defense Ohio Board. He is a brilliant and passionate advocate for fundamental human rights and freedoms

Heather Chappell

Heather ChappelHeather Chappell is a proud wife and mother of two beautiful children. She has spent the last eight years self-learning natural, pharmaceutical free living. Heather is a firm believer in the importance of nutrition, embracing the significance of “we are what we eat” and that health does not come effortlessly. The past two years have consisted of diving deeper into the political realm and learning that freedom too does not come effortlessly.

Heather has been proactive at the local level in various realms, including her local school district and health department for years. Her experience and tenacity have afforded her the opportunity to learn how to successfully engage her elected officials and advocate on behalf of children at the local level.

Heather ardently believes that we must keep our local government in check if we value our freedoms, and that fear and sensitivity will not keep us safe. We must stand strong and insist that we will continue to live in the United States of America – the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Chanel has been proactive in her community and frequently attends numerous meetings throughout the county to spread the truth regarding masks, vaccines, and lock-downs, with a primary focus on children and their overall well being.

Kathryn Huwig

Kathryn Huwig

Kathryn Huwig attended Case Western Reserve University and Stanford University, double-majoring in Geology and Evolutionary Biology. Her focus was mainly in planetary geology, and her evolutionary biology degree included courses mainly on human evolution and the history and philosophy of science (how we know what we know and how science succeeds and where it fails). It also included graduate level courses on the epidemiology and evolution of human diseases, which focused on the evolutionary principles involved in how infectious diseases and their hosts evolve together and because of each other. It encompassed much of the broader epidemiological concepts but none of the politics and psychology of public health.

After leaving academia, Huwig had her first daughter, who was vaccine-injured and through the course of trying to figure out how to help her daughter, she spent a massive amount of time reading medical journals on her rare disease, as well as learning that medical professionals do not always ‘follow the science’ but rather follow the procedure whether or not it is the best path forward for the patient. Something Kathryn asserts we are watching play out on a grand scale right now.

Huwig gained notoriety worldwide after creating a group on Facebook titled ‘Understanding Ohio COVID-19 Data’ where she would break down many of the flaws in the official Ohio data, created tutorials on how others could download, look at, and understand the data so that they could take that knowledge onward to their friends, family and representatives.

She also created the Science History Book and produces a video show called “Beyond the Data” where she continues to show the flaws in Ohio’s data, as well as hosts expert guests and activists.
