A Letter to Liberals Book Discussion Reveals Outstanding Data that Puts Ohio Covid Policies to Shame
After disseminating a total of 132 hardcover copies of the book, “A Letter to Liberals,” written by Robert F. Kennedy, to all members of Ohio’s 134th General Assembly, Children’s Health Defense Ohio Chapter co-hosted a book discussion at Soda Farm on Friday, Nov. 18th at 7:00 p.m. as part of a truth-driven campaign intended to spark dialogue and encourage constituents to read the book and feel confident in discussing its content with their elected officials.
The book discussion was a great success. Supporters who attended the book discussion were particularly amazed by the depth of data contained in “A Letter to Liberals” and significant statistical facts that could be utilized to showcase the true impact of the COVID-19 policies within the state in comparison to other regions.
For instance, as noted in “A Letter to Liberals“ book, Haiti has one of the lowest vaccination rates of 1.4% and a covid death rate of 837 people with a population of 11.68 million. In contrast, it was discussed during the meeting that Ohio has a comparable population rate of roughly 11.78 million people with a vaccination rate of 64.4% of the population who have received one does of the experimental covid jabs and 59.5% for those who are considered fully “vaccinated,” yet the state has a reported covid death rate of 40,466 people, which equates to 4,735% more deaths in the Ohio than the island state of Haiti, with a similar population size, yet a different standard of living, COVID policies and response.
A testament to the failed COVID policies, draconian mandates and treatment protocols that were enforced in States like Ohio and eloquently noted in the book, which has extensive supportive evidence that can be utilized in these important engagements to further expose the truth.
Attendees also expressed motivation to reach out to their elected officials to establish rapport for the first time to discuss the contents of the book and their personal testimony in relation to COVID-19 policies, as well as the importance of preserving bodily autonomy and fundamental human rights. Attendees were particularly grateful and expressed the courage to engage in these important conversations with their legislators knowing that they would have the support of CHD-Ohio Board members.
A follow-up Call-to-Action will be launched next week to further encourage those who could not be in attendance, equipped with talking points to hopefully initiate dialogue, set a zoom, or in-person meeting with their elected officials.
As RFK, Jr., stated in “A Letter to Liberals“ book and the culminating message of the discussion, “If we can’t explore scientific truths through debate, how will we ever bridge the widening chasm between America’s warring tribes?”
RFK, Jr. added that, “Coercive policies – especially the suppression of speech and dissent will only breed more skepticism and mistrust and will never bridge the gap between America’s polarized tribes. As Professor Makary observes: ‘The American people are hungry for honesty. They see the inequity of COVID policies and want the data straight, not politically curated by a small group of like-minded scientists.’”
